The Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Dr. Muheebah Dankaka, has extended warm Eid Al-Fitr greetings to Nigerian Muslims, congratulating them on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of this sacred occasion.

In her Sallah message, Dr. Dankaka expressed gratitude to Allah for granting the faithful the opportunity to observe another Eid Al-Fitr, emphasizing that Ramadan is a divine pillar of Islam that fosters self-discipline, purification, gratitude, and total submission to God’s will.

“Beyond the self-denial and pious living observed during Ramadan, the spiritual exercise strengthens moral character, refines minds for higher ideals, and deepens our devotion through fervent prayers and supplications,” she said.

She further urged Muslims to uphold the values of love, fairness, and patriotism, noting that Islam encourages compassion, justice, and service to humanity. She called on the faithful to emulate Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) by being better citizens, demonstrating dedication to duty, and treating all individuals with honesty and fairness.

Dr. Dankaka concluded her message by wishing all Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration, urging them to sustain the virtues of Ramadan beyond the festivities for a more harmonious and progressive society.
