Former House of Representatives member Muhammad Gudaji Kazaure has expressed frustration over the lack of response from authorities regarding the financial misconduct he has exposed.
Despite his efforts to bring corruption to light, he claims no action has been taken.
In a widely shared video following his visit to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Kazaure highlighted the importance of political unity in tackling Nigeria’s growing challenges. He revealed that before meeting Atiku, a group of political elders convened to discuss national issues, lamenting that many politicians had abandoned the country’s development agenda.
“We gathered before visiting him because we believe all politicians must unite to find lasting solutions,” he stated.
Kazaure, who represented the Kazaure/Roni/Gwiwa/Yankwashi Constituency in Jigawa State during the 9th National Assembly, voiced his disappointment over the government’s inaction on his corruption allegations.
“We have exposed corruption. We have presented evidence, yet nothing has happened. No one has invited me for questioning, no one has reached out, and it feels like I don’t even exist,” he lamented.
Despite his concerns, Kazaure reaffirmed his commitment to working with patriotic politicians across party lines.
“We don’t care about party affiliations. Wherever our elders direct us, we are ready to follow,” he asserted.
He also praised Atiku for his leadership, describing him as a father figure who prioritizes the well-being of Nigerians.
Urging political leaders to unite in solving the nation’s problems, Kazaure declared, “This is a mission for all our political elders. Nigeria comes first, second, and third. We are ready to do whatever it takes to save this country.”
