The United States Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has officially launched its website, doge.gov, to provide updates on its activities.
In a statement on X, DOGE—led by billionaire Elon Musk—announced that it will now release key details about its operations through the website.
The agency’s statement highlighted key features of the site, including:
Updates on government cost-saving measures
A consolidated organizational chart of over 16,000 federal offices
A summary of the regulatory state, featuring the Unconstitutionality Index—a metric comparing rules created by unelected bureaucrats to laws passed by Congress
Reacting to the launch, Musk posted on X: “Details of cost savings will be posted here.”
President Donald Trump has strongly backed DOGE’s efforts to reduce government spending. As part of this initiative, agencies like the US International Development Agency (USAID) and the Treasury Department have undergone financial reviews to identify inefficiencies.
On Wednesday, Trump dismissed Paul Martin, the Independent Inspector General for USAID, following allegations of fraud within the agency. He has also directed DOGE to expand its reviews to further cut unnecessary government expenditures.
