President Donald Trump’s approval ratings have seen a slight dip since his second term began a month ago, according to three new national polls released on Wednesday.
Fox News reports that in a recent Quinnipiac University survey, 45% of voters expressed approval of Trump’s job performance, while 49% disapproved. This marks a decrease from a 46%-43% approval rating in a Quinnipiac poll conducted in late January, during the President’s first week in office following his inauguration.
Additionally, a Gallup national poll indicated that Trump’s approval stands at 45% and disapproval at 51%, down from a previous 47%-48% approval rating reported in late January.
Meanwhile, a new Reuters/Ipsos national survey also released on Wednesday showed Trump with an approval rating of 44% and disapproval at 51%. This reflects a decline from the previous Reuters/Ipsos poll, which recorded a 45%-46% approval/disapproval ratio during the President’s initial week in office.
The Quinnipiac poll was conducted between February 13-17, Gallup conducted its survey from February 3-16, and Reuters/Ipsos held theirs from February 13-18.
Despite these fluctuations, recent surveys from other organizations suggest that Trump’s approval ratings are still holding relatively steady. According to Fox News, the President has signed nearly 70 executive orders since assuming office.
During a news conference on Tuesday, Trump asserted that “incredible things are happening in our country.” However, the new polls highlight a significant partisan divide regarding his performance.
