QS Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, the esteemed founder of the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation and principal partner of Luxiar Construction Limited, recently expressed his heartfelt congratulations to over 200 students who are beneficiaries of the foundation’s WAEC scholarship programme.
This initiative underscores his unwavering commitment to prioritizing education as a pathway to empowerment and progress for underprivileged youth.
In a press statement made available to the media, Muhydeen articulated his vision for community support, stating, “Giving back to society from the modest resources that Almighty Allah has bestowed upon me has become my foremost priority. I am dedicated to fostering a safer and more equitable environment where every underprivileged child can feel valued and have the opportunity to thrive.”
Known affectionately as MOK, Muhydeen also pledged to provide ongoing support to beneficiaries who excel in their examinations, emphasizing the importance of nurturing talent and academic achievement. He remarked, “I have been invested in providing educational support long before the formal establishment of the MOK Foundation. Our efforts to uplift and assist deserving individuals have quietly continued behind closed doors, and we are committed to making a lasting impact.”
In discussing the Foundation JAMB scholarship, he took a moment to reflect on the achievements of past beneficiaries who have demonstrated remarkable success after taking the examination. He noted, “Many of the beneficiaries remain unknown to us, as we prioritize public consideration in our approach to the JAMB Scholarship. The process is quite straightforward: interested candidates can either register through the links we provide or visit our foundation’s office directly.”
He went on to share exciting news about the scholarship’s expansion this year. “We have increased the total number of scholarships available, rising from 250 last year to an impressive 400 this year. This increase reflects our commitment to providing greater opportunities for students.” He further expressed his belief that through these efforts, the foundation can continue to bring hope and opportunities closer to the community. MOK concluded on a hopeful note, emphasizing the positive impact of the scholarship on the lives of deserving students.
