Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has pledged to turn over a new leaf after securing a ₦2 million bail from an Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, on Thursday.

The Zazu crooner was arraigned by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA). He faced a five-count charge, including conspiracy, assault, possession of dangerous weapons, and unruly conduct but pleaded not guilty.

Following his release, Portable addressed his fans in a video message on social media, vowing to stay out of trouble and focus on making money.

“My fans, thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything. I need money. I’m not looking for trouble anymore—I’m now focused on making money. I have a ₦2 million bail debt. I need more money. I am looking for money,” he said.
