Controversial singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has publicly criticized his father for failing to support him in his ongoing conflict with the Ogun State government.
According to News Bulletin, Portable allegedly assaulted Ogun State Town Planning officials, leading to the arrest and subsequent sentencing of some of his aides by a Magistrate court in Ogun.
In a social media outburst, the singer accused his father of being an irresponsible parent, claiming that despite benefiting financially from him, his father refused to stand by him during his legal troubles.
Portable alleged that the property in question, which prompted the government’s inspection, was being constructed by his father. He further claimed that his father failed to properly handle the situation by not settling the officials beforehand, which could have prevented the altercation.
Additionally, the ‘Zazu’ crooner accused his father of avoiding the police, stating that he lacked the courage to appear at the station when the issue escalated.
