The Founder of the Honourable Moshood Adeleke (HMA) Foundation, Hon. Moshood Adeleke, has commended the Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Arc Oyelola Yisa Ashiru, for his visionary leadership in championing the bill for the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Offa.
Reacting to the successful public hearing on the proposed FMC Offa bill (SB. 311) held today at the Senate Conference Hall, Hon. Adeleke described the initiative as a landmark development that will redefine healthcare accessibility in Kwara South and beyond.
“This development is not just for Offa but for all seven local government areas of Kwara South and Kwara State as a whole. If this bill is successful, it will be a bill for humanity.”
Hon. Adeleke emphasized that the Federal Medical Centre in Offa will bridge the healthcare gap in the region, reducing maternal and infant mortality rates while ensuring that residents no longer have to travel long distances to access tertiary medical care.
