A mob in Mosogar Community, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State, set two suspected kidnappers on fire today, while two others managed to escape.
The suspects and their gang had attempted to abduct a female victim, who raised an alarm. Passersby quickly responded, chasing down and capturing two of the alleged kidnappers.
After severely beating the suspects, the enraged crowd set them ablaze.
Confirming the incident, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, responded to an inquiry with a brief WhatsApp message: “Confirmed.”
