Comrade (Ambassador) Subair Aliu Opeyemi, popularly known as Aluta Floating has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Abdul-Razaq Adebayo Abioye, Ilufemiloye I and the entire Ikotun-Ile Kingdom as the monarch marked his 20th Coronation Anniversary, yesterday.
Aluta Floating commended the king’s two decades of dedicated service and development-driven leadership.
Comrade Subair, a former General Secretary of the Ikotun-Ile Development Association Youth Wing (Home Branch) and a key youth leader, praised Oba Abioye for his role in fostering peace, unity, and progress within the kingdom.
He noted that the monarch’s reign has been marked by significant contributions to cultural preservation, youth empowerment, and infrastructural growth.
A former Social Director and later Vice President of the Federation of Ikotun-Ile Students Union, Subair has been actively involved in community development and grassroots politics. As a former General Secretary of Ward Ikotun under the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a two-time councilorship candidate, he emphasized that Oba Abioye’s leadership has inspired many, particularly the younger generation striving for excellence.
The 20th Coronation Anniversary celebration took place on February 22, 2025, at Ansar Islam Primary School Field, Oyun Local Government, Kwara State. The event drew dignitaries, traditional rulers, government officials, and well-wishers from across the state and beyond.
Comrade Subair called on the people of Ikotun-Ile to continue supporting the monarch in his efforts to drive sustainable development and uphold the cultural values of the kingdom.
He described the celebration as a remarkable tribute to two decades of visionary leadership, highlighting Oba Abioye’s enduring impact on the community.
