Players and officials of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC were involved in a road accident on Monday morning while returning from their Nigeria National League (NNL) matches in Lagos.
The incident occurred along the Ogbomoso-Ilorin expressway, but fortunately, no lives were lost. However, some team members sustained minor injuries, according to the club’s Media Director, Tosh Michaels.
Speaking on the accident, Michaels assured fans and well-wishers that all affected players and officials are in stable condition, and medical attention has been provided where necessary.
