Nigerian-British professional boxer and two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has shared his perspective on achieving billionaire status.
According to him, relying solely on sports or entertainment is not enough to reach such financial heights.
Joshua urged entertainers and athletes to look beyond fame and focus on building sustainable wealth through business acumen and strategic planning.
Writing on his Snapchat page, he stated:
“To reach billionaire status, it will not be through sports, music, or entertainment alone. Don’t get lost in the hype; focus on sustainability, knowledge, and business ethics.”
Globally, only a small number of entertainers and sports figures have achieved billionaire status. Most attribute their success to endorsements and investments outside their primary careers.
Forbes lists prominent billionaire entertainers and athletes, including Jay-Z, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James, as individuals who have expanded their wealth through strategic ventures.
