The United States President-elect, Donald Trump, has vowed to prevent World War III and bring an end to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Addressing his supporters ahead of his inauguration, Trump also promised to resolve the crisis in the Middle East upon assuming office.

In his statement, Trump declared: “I will end the war in Ukraine, stop the chaos in the Middle East, and prevent World War III from happening. You have no idea how close we are.”

For the first time in four decades, Trump’s inauguration will be held indoors at the US Capitol. The decision was made due to extreme cold weather conditions.

Trump explained: “There is an Arctic blast sweeping the country. I don’t want to see people hurt or injured in any way. Therefore, I have ordered the Inauguration Address, along with prayers and other speeches, to be delivered inside the United States Capitol Rotunda.”

The last indoor presidential inauguration due to severe weather took place in 1985, during former Republican President Ronald Reagan’s second swearing-in.
