Omoyele Sowore, the 2023 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has alleged that his counterparts, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), are not Nigerians.
Speaking in a recent episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask hosted by Bae U Barbie, Sowore claimed that Atiku is Cameroonian, while Obi is Biafran.
During the show, Bae U suggested Sowore, Atiku, and Obi collaborate on a reality TV show.
“You were almost the president of Nigeria… well, that’s Peter Obi. You were 2 percent almost the president. How does that feel? Do you think you still have a chance?” Bae U asked.
Sowore replied, “Everybody that contested the 2023 presidential election almost became president, except the guy who was declared selected—[Bola] Tinubu. All of us who didn’t win have returned to philanthropy.”
Bae U then proposed the idea of a reality show named The Almost President or The Kamala Harris Boys.
Sowore dismissed the idea, saying, “I don’t think a reality show would work for us. How would people even understand Atiku? He doesn’t speak English. He’s a Cameroonian—ask APC; they once claimed he shouldn’t run for president because of this.
“And Obi? He’s a Biafran. How do we fit into the same reality show? And as for Kamala Harris, she doesn’t even know the difference between Nigeria and Africa. How can we be her boys?”
