Grammy-nominated Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti has declared that he would leave heaven if he encounters any Nigerian politician there.
Expressing his views in an Instagram Live video, Kuti criticized the hypocrisy of corrupt politicians who still aspire to make it to heaven. He highlighted how figures like former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a pastor, continue to seek divine salvation despite the state of the country.
“If I died and the Christian and Muslim fantasy heaven turns out to be real, and I see even one Nigerian politician there, I will leave. That would mean there’s corruption in heaven,” Kuti stated.
