The Senator believes in the popular saying that health is wealth. He therefore taking steps to complement efforts of executive to improve health facilities in Kwara South Senatorial district by construction Primary Healthcare Centers in rural communities, facilitate supply of medical equipment and drugs to PHCs and organise free medical outreaches across the district.
Apart from that the Deputy Senate Leader organised Geriatrics for constituents in. Ifelodun/Offa/ Oyun and Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-Ero Federal Constituencies.
Recently, Senator Ashiru distributed wheelchairs to people living with disabilities to ease their mobility.
