In a bid to promote renewable energy solutions and empower local artisans, Dazmah Consult Nigeria, a leading power and telecommunications company, in partnership with Hinen New Energy, organized a two-day workshop for artisans, especially barbers, in Ilorin and Offa, Kwara State.
The event was held at Dazmah Consult’s office at Ajao Plaza, 372 Olofa Way in Offa.
It was attended by top executives from Hinen New Energy, including Country Manager Martin Yin, Head of Technical Roberts, and Head of Sales for West Africa Atam Tayim.
The workshop focused on raising awareness about energy storage solutions and the potential of solar power to reduce costs and enhance profitability for small businesses.
Speaking at the workshop, Omojasola Olatunji Dauda, CEO of Dazmah Consult Nigeria, highlighted the importance of renewable energy in shaping the future.
“We organized this workshop to introduce more people to Dazmah Consult and Hinen New Energy and to raise awareness that solar power is the future,” Dauda said.
He added that the company invited artisans across Kwara State to educate them on the benefits of solar systems. “We want to equip them with the knowledge to reduce costs and remain profitable in their businesses,” Dauda explained.
The workshop is part of Dazmah Consult’s ongoing efforts to promote solar energy solutions.
It will be recalled that on January 22, 2024, Dazmah Consult, in collaboration with Hinen New Energy and Citizen Trust Microfinance Bank Limited, organized a similar training for barbers in Offa. That session provided participants with practical knowledge on using solar generators, portable power stations, and battery packs to power their businesses and homes.
This latest workshop reinforced Dazmah Consult’s commitment to driving energy independence and sustainable business practices in Nigeria through strategic partnerships and community engagement.
