Vice President Kashim Shettima has expressed optimism about Nigeria’s economic future, assuring citizens of significant improvement by 2025.

In a video shared by Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant on Social Media to President Bola Tinubu, Shettima highlighted the government’s efforts to address the country’s challenges in collaboration with the National Assembly.

“We have turned a corner,” Shettima stated. “Insha Allah, 2025 will usher in a period of robust economic activity. The economy has started to recover, and in the coming weeks and months, Nigerians will begin to see positive changes.”

Acknowledging the impact of global crises such as the conflict in Ukraine, Shettima emphasized that no nation is immune to the ripple effects of global economic challenges. However, he reassured Nigerians of the government’s commitment to implementing effective solutions for sustainable growth.

“We are working diligently with the National Assembly to devise comprehensive strategies to overcome our national challenges,” he added. “By the grace of God, we have crossed the Rubicon and are on the path to long-term economic stability. We wish all Nigerians the very best.”
