A commercial motorcyclist, whose identity remains unknown, has reportedly lost his life after a tragic accident in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The incident, which occurred around 2 p.m. on Saturday, involved a speeding black Mercedes saloon car that rammed into a pharmacy at Osuntokun Junction, opposite a commercial bank in the New Bodija area.
The crash caused significant damage to the pharmacy, and two other vehicles parked in front of the shop were also affected.
The driver of the car sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, for treatment.
The motorcyclist’s body was recovered from inside the shop and has been deposited at the UCH morgue.
