Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has accepted the resignation of Engr. Muhammad Diggol, the Commissioner for the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation. The resignation takes immediate effect.
The announcement was made on Sunday through a statement by the Governor’s spokesperson, Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
Engr. Diggol, who initially served as Commissioner for Transportation at the start of Governor Yusuf’s administration in 2023, was later reassigned to lead the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation. He held the position until his resignation.
Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude for Engr. Diggol’s commitment, dedication, and service to the state during his time in the executive council. He extended his best wishes for Diggol’s future endeavors.
The Governor’s office also acknowledged Engr. Diggol’s contributions to advancing the state’s development objectives.
The resignation brings a change in leadership for the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation. However, no successor has been announced yet.
