In a move aimed at fostering unity and collaboration among Yoruba and Osun State indigenes in Malaysia, the Imole Osun Parapo Community Malaysia, led by its Convener, Owolabi Adedolapo Oluwaseun (A.K.A BORN-AGAIN), held a strategic meeting with the Odua Progressive Union (OPU) Asia Continent and the Yoruba Community Association of Malaysia (YCAM).

The meeting, which was well attended, received a warm welcome from Hon. Akogun Olakanye Franklin (TMT), the Asia Coordinator and National Coordinator of OPU Malaysia, as well as Aare Olola Ahmed Adebanjo, the President of YCAM. Both leaders commended the Imole Osun Parapo Community for its efforts in uniting Osun indigenes in Malaysia and strengthening cultural ties.

The gathering provided a platform for members of all three organizations to network, share experiences, and deliberate on issues of mutual interest.

The Odua Progressive Union Worldwide, under the leadership of Iba Aare Gani Abiodun Ige Adams, has maintained a strong connection with Osun State, recently holding their World Congress 2024 in Osogbo.

During the congress, the group executed a notable humanitarian outreach, distributing food and medical supplies to over 2,000 residents and providing a borehole at the Palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo.

The Imole Osun Parapo Community Malaysia is committed to uniting Osun State indigenes in Malaysia through cultural exchange, social support, and active engagement in developmental initiatives back home.

The group also reaffirmed its support for the administration of Governor Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke, emphasizing their dedication to contributing positively to Osun State’s progress.

The meeting concluded on a high note, with all parties expressing their commitment to strengthening the Yoruba and Osun State community in Malaysia and beyond.
