
Hon. Abdulsalam Babatunde Sheriffdeen, Councillor representing Shawo Central Ward and Chairman of the Committee on Health, Offa Local Government Council, has embarked on a borehole rehabilitation initiative to tackle water scarcity in his constituency.
The project, aimed at ensuring access to clean and sustainable water, has already seen the successful repair of boreholes at Popo Road and Shawo Compound.
Hon. Sheriffdeen emphasized his commitment to extending similar interventions to other parts of the ward to address the water needs of residents.
“This initiative is part of our collective effort to improve the living conditions of our people. We are determined to ensure that clean water reaches every household in Shawo Central Ward,” he stated.
Hon. Sheriffdeen’s initiative aligns with the broader vision of the Alhaji Sulaiman Olatunji Laaro-led administration to provide improved water infrastructure across Offa Local Government.
