The Osun State Chairman of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Comrade Waheed Oyeyemi has emerged as the Secretary of the Osun State Joint Public Service Negotiating Council (JPSNC).
Comrade Oyeyemi was declared winner in an election conducted today in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
In a congratulatory message signed by the State Secretary of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Osun State Council, Comrade Aina Emmanuel O, he described the emergence of Comrade Oyeyemi as a round peg in a round hole.
“Let me on behalf of our great Association, NANNM, congratulate our amiable chairman for his emergence as the Secretary of JPSNC in Osun State. This is a round peg in a round hole.
“Let me also congratulate other Executives for their victory. May God continue to be with them all as they pilot the affairs of JPSNC in the State.
According to the release, the Secretary also appreciated the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for being worker’s friendly and for not taking with levity the welfare of Osun workers.
Comrade Aina however appreciates the State Head of Service, Elder Samuel Ayanleye Aina, SA and SSAs on Labour, the labour leaders in the state, Comrade Christopher Abimbola Arapasopo, NLC Chairman, for his leadership prowess, noting that he’s a man of the people.
He equally appreciates the NANNM leaders, members of SAC, SEC and by extension the entire Osun State Nurses and Midwives for always standing with Comrade Oyeyemi and believing in his capacity to represent them well.
“Also, it’s important that we appreciate other affiliate unions who make up Joint Public Service Negotiating Council (JPSNC) -AUPCTRE, NCSU, NUPSRAW, NANNM, NUPPPROW, NUAEE, ASCSN, MHWUN. May our unions continue to move from strength to strength.
