Ifedayo local government PDP party chairman, Hon. Adeyemi Oyinlola has assured Governor Ademola Adeleke that the people of Ifedayo will vote massively for his re-election, describing the opposition APC in the local government as a dead horse who has been relegated to nothing.
Hon. Adeyemi made this disclosure at Oke-Ila during the zonal campaign for the forthcoming local government elections slated for February 22, 2025. He said, the remnants of APC members in the local government are confused due to the performance of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
“We want to assure Mr Governor that by the grace of God and with the support of the people, PDP will clear all the 10 wards in Ifedayo for him come 2026.”
“The Governor is doing well and our people must reciprocate by voting massively for him when it’s time. As for the local government elections which is coming up next month, it’s done deal for our party in Ifedayo as the candidates of the APC have been disqualified due to irregularities.
Speaking, the lawmaker representing Ifedayo state constituency in the Osun State house of assembly, Hon. Kashope Abolarin urged the people not to be an ingrate to the current administration in Osun, noting that many projects are ongoing in the local government.
He said very soon the Ora-Igbomina water dam will be completed and commissioned for use. “This is a project that was built by the administration of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and the APC government abandoned it, but we thank God today, another PDP government is reconstructing it.
“We must tell APC in Ifedayo that their party is dead by voting en mass for the PDP chairmanship candidate, his vice and all councilorship candidates from ward one to ten. I am very certain that the incoming chairman will perform and people will enjoy dividends of democracy.
Speaking on behalf of the Chairmanship candidate, the vice chairmanship candidate, Hon. Kayode Ajiboye appreciated leaders, stakeholders and members of the party for their show of love since when the zonal campaign started, assuring them that under their watch, Ifedayo local government will regain its lost glory.
“On behalf of my chairman, Hon. Kayode Atolagbe, I want to assure everybody that under our watch, Ifedayo will regain its lost glory. We shall put people at the centre of our government.
“We have a lot of programs which will benefit both old and young. A lot of empowerment programs that will reshape lives of our people at the grassroot. All we need from all of you is your continued support and prayer. By the grace of God, we shall succeed and Ifedayo will be great again.” He said
