Two students from Borno State University were killed in a road accident on Wednesday when a school bus collided with a trailer.
Three other students sustained critical injuries, while 15 others are receiving medical care.
The bus, which was carrying 30 students, was struck by the trailer, instantly killing two students and leaving three others critically injured. Ten students were unharmed.
University spokesman Umar Garkuwa confirmed that the injured students were rushed to Umaru Shehu Hospital and UMTH for treatment.
He also stated that the university’s vice chancellor and the dean of student affairs are visiting the hospitals to ensure timely assistance.
