A tragic stampede at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the Maitama area of Abuja has resulted in an unconfirmed number of fatalities.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning during a food distribution event aimed at assisting vulnerable community members. Many individuals were reported to be hospitalized in the aftermath.
