The Offa Students Union (OSU), National Headquarters, has honored Alhaji Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, the founder of the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation, with a prestigious merit award.
The union described MOK as the ‘Philanthropist of the Year’, taking into account his humanitarian efforts.
The award was presented on Thursday, December 5, during the union’s Annual Day and Award Presentation ceremony held at the ODU Mini Hall in Offa, Kwara State.
Speaking at the event, the President of OSU National Headquarters, Comrade Soliu Mubarak Olaiya, highlighted Alhaji Muhydeen’s outstanding contributions to education, youth empowerment, and community development.
He described the recognition as a token of appreciation for his unwavering commitment to uplifting the Offa community and supporting students’ welfare.
In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Muhydeen, represented by Engr Lawal Sheriff Kunle (Up Lawal) expressed gratitude to the union for the honour, reaffirming his dedication to fostering development and supporting initiatives that benefit the younger generation.
