The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) officially began its computer-based tests for recruitment into various roles within the state-owned oil company on Saturday.

The announcement was made via a statement on the NNPCL’s official Facebook page. According to the company, a total of 45,689 candidates are competing for the available positions.

NNPCL emphasized that only the most qualified individuals will be selected for employment following this recruitment exercise.

“With the initiation of the Computer-Based Aptitude Test today across various centers nationwide, we are conducting a transparent and inclusive recruitment process involving 45,689 applicants,” the company stated.

During his visit to one of the testing centers, NNPCL Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, assured candidates of a fair and credible process, emphasizing that only the most qualified candidates will be hired.

He also highlighted NNPC Ltd.’s commitment to being an equal opportunity employer, noting that special arrangements have been made to facilitate the participation of applicants with disabilities.

It is worth mentioning that in July 2024, the NNPCL spokesperson had previously announced the launch of a new recruitment drive.
