The police have apprehended a suspect, Efe Onoetiyi, along with others, in connection with the murder of Paulinus Okon.
Paulinus was reported missing by his brother on September 8, 2024, after leaving with his friend, 30-year-old Efe Onoetiyi.
Initially, Efe denied having any knowledge of Paulinus’s whereabouts, but later approached Paulinus’s family. When questioned about Paulinus accompanying him on that day, Efe again denied involvement.
Eventually, he returned to demand N500,000 from Paulinus’s brother, claiming it was necessary for consulting a herbalist who could assist in locating Paulinus.
