Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has successfully undergone brain surgery after suffering a hemorrhage resulting from a fall, as announced by the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital in São Paulo on Tuesday.
The hospital confirmed that “the operation was completed without complications” on Monday night, and Lula is currently “in good condition and being monitored” in the intensive care unit, according to a statement shared on the president’s Instagram account.
