The management of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has issued a public notice to clarify that it has no affiliation with the Lamido School of Hygiene and Health Sciences, Gombe, or any of its purported study centers.
This announcement follows reports of a fraudulent advertisement claiming a partnership between the two institutions to offer admission opportunities.
In an official statement signed by KWASU Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, the university categorically disclaims any connection to the Gombe-based institution.
“KWASU has no affiliation with Lamido School of Hygiene and Health Sciences or any of its study centers in Gombe State or any other location,” the statement reads.
Members of the public are advised to disregard such claims and to exercise caution when dealing with the Lamido School of Hygiene and Health Sciences regarding admission into KWASU. Any engagement with the institution for this purpose is at the individual’s risk.
