The Kwara State Chapter of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) held its end-of-year meeting on Monday, December 30, 2024, in Ilorin.

 

The gathering brought together stakeholders, leaders, and members of the party to review the year’s activities and outline strategies for a more robust political future in the state.

 

In a significant move reflecting unity and solidarity, the party stakeholders passed a vote of confidence on Dr. Boniface Aniabolem, the founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT).

 

The resolution was a recognition of Dr. Aniabolem’s visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to the principles and growth of the NNPP.

 

The meeting was hosted by Prince Adetoyese Omokanye, the National Treasurer of the party, and attended by notable party leaders, including:

 

Abdulsalam Abdulrazaq, National Publicity Secretary

 

Alhaji Lamidi Shoko, State Chairman

 

Abdullahi Nasamu, State Secretary

 

State Executives and representatives from all local governments

 

Women Leaders and Local Government Chairmen

 

 

During the event, the party emphasized its commitment to strengthening its grassroots presence in Kwara State.

 

A key resolution was the launch of an aggressive membership drive to expand the party’s base across the state.

 

Furthermore, the NNPP plans to introduce monthly radio programs to promote its policies, educate the public, and foster engagement with the electorate.

 

Speaking on the resolutions, Alhaji Lamidi Shoko, the State Chairman, reaffirmed the party’s dedication to promoting good governance, transparency, and accountability.

 

He highlighted the importance of unity within the party, stating that the collective efforts of members and leaders are crucial to achieving its goals.

 

The confidence vote in Dr. Aniabolem was widely endorsed by attendees, who applauded his tireless dedication to building a stronger and more vibrant party.

 

“This resolution is a testament to Dr. Aniabolem’s exceptional leadership, which has inspired trust and admiration from all members of the party,” said Abdullahi Nasamu, the State Secretary.

 

As the NNPP Kwara State Chapter moves into the new year, it is determined to position itself as a formidable force in the state’s political landscape, leveraging its renewed energy and commitment to the ideals of democracy and progress.
