The Chief of Staff to Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Alhaji Mahe Abdulquadri, has died.
Family sources confirmed to DAILY POST that he passed away on Saturday at his Adewole residence in Ilorin.
Alhaji Mahe, aged 75, was a prominent figure and a strong contender for the Emirship throne in Ilorin.
He served in various capacities at both federal and state levels, including as a senior staff member at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Ilorin. He later joined the Kwara State civil service, where he served as a permanent secretary and clerk of the state House of Assembly before retiring.
The late Mahe attended the recent 2024 Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) meeting held from December 24 to 25.
Burial arrangements were still underway at the time of this report.
