Hon. Abdulsalam Babatunde Sheriffdeen, the Councillor representing Shawo Central Ward and Chairman of the Committee on Health, Offa Local Government Council, extended a hand of generosity to selected Christians in his constituency on Sunday, December 22, 2024, by distributing cash gifts ahead of the Christmas celebration.
The initiative saw selected beneficiaries receive ₦5,000 each, aimed at easing their financial responsibilities during the festive season.
Hon. Sheriffdeen explained that the gesture was part of his commitment to fostering community support and ensuring inclusivity, especially during a time of celebration.
“This is a season of joy and sharing, and it’s important that everyone has the opportunity to celebrate without worry. I believe this token will help ease some of the burdens of the season,” he said during the distribution.
