William and Zachary Zulock, a same-sex couple from Georgia, have received life sentences for the sexual abuse of their adopted children.
According to the Economic Times, a Walton County court sentenced each man to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
The victims, now aged 12 and 10, were adopted from a Christian agency specializing in special needs. The couple resided in a suburb of Atlanta, where Zachary worked in banking and William was employed by the government.
The abuse included coercing the boys into sexual acts and producing pornographic videos. Evidence presented during the trial revealed that the Zulocks had shared details of their actions, including a chilling Snapchat message from Zachary that read, “I’m going to f–k my son tonight. Stand by,” accompanied by images of the abuse.
The crimes were uncovered after a member of a local pedophile ring was arrested for downloading child pornography and disclosed the Zulocks’ involvement in the production of sexually explicit material featuring their adopted sons.
Both men pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, and sexual exploitation of children during their trial.
District Attorney Randy McGinley stated, “These two defendants truly created a house of horrors and prioritized their disturbing desires above everything and everyone else.” He also praised the resilience of the victims, remarking on their inspiring strength throughout the two-year process leading to justice.
