In a grand celebration of leadership, innovation, and excellence, the Federal Character Commission (FCC) hosted its 3rd Dinner and Award Night, honoring the exceptional contributions of its Executive Chairman, Dr. Muheebah Dankaka.

 

 

The event, held on December 17, 2024, brought together a distinguished audience of stakeholders, public servants, and dignitaries at a night filled with accolades and reflections on transformational leadership.

 

The event featured prominent figures, including Distinguished Senator Allwell Onyesoh, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Character; Alhaji Umar Usman Kadafur, Deputy Governor of Borno State; and Senator Abubakar Shaib Kyari, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security.

 

In her keynote address, Dr. Dankaka highlighted the significance of the event in recognizing the commitment and efforts of commissioners, federal establishments, and FCC staff in ensuring compliance with the commission’s mandate.

 

She called for continued dedication, stressing that there is always room for improvement in the quest for excellence.

 

The Deputy Governor of Borno State and the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Character joined other attendees in commending Dr. Dankaka’s transformative leadership.

 

Her innovative measures have set a new standard of excellence within the FCC, turning it into a beacon of integrity and efficiency.

 

Awards were presented to key figures and institutions in recognition of their unwavering support and dedication to the FCC’s mission.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of an Award of Excellence in Leadership to Dr. Dankaka, acknowledging her groundbreaking achievements in turnaround management. The FCC’s Director delivered the award, lauding her exceptional records in steering the commission to new heights.

 

Adding a touch of elegance to the evening, the second edition of the Federal Character Commission Queen contest was held. Dr. Dankaka personally crowned the FCC Queen, symbolizing her commitment to empowering new standards of representation and excellence.

 

The 3rd Dinner and Award Night not only celebrated the FCC’s achievements but also solidified Dr. Dankaka’s place as a shining example of integrity and leadership in public service.
