The Deputy Senate Leader and Lawmaker representing Kwara south senatorial district has described the Ijakadi Offa Festival as a big boost for tourism in Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.
In his message issued to celebrate with the Offa community, Senator Ashiru said with the grand finale of the Ijakadi festival today, Kwara state is the centre of action with this well-packaged event.
” The success of the Ijakadi Offa Festival 2024 is a clear indication that if cultural tourism is well-developed and promoted in Nigeria, we will have labyrinth of tourists’ footfalls, which will greatly boost the nation’s economy, create huge employment and empowerment in the communities where the tourist sites and cultural festivals are located.”
