The Oyo State government has announced the re-verification schedule for landowners and claimants affected by the acquisition of lands on Segment 1 of the Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road project.
The monitoring team, led by retired CP Sunday Odukoya, stated that the exercise will be held at Islamic High School, Basorun, Ibadan. It will focus on compensating landowners and claimants affected along the Alago-Ajota axis.
The re-verification exercise is set to commence on Sunday, December 15, at 10 a.m. and conclude on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
Landowners and claimants are required to bring the following documents:
Local government identification certificate or residence permit (for non-indigenes of the state).
Land purchase agreement.
National Identification Number (NIN).
Two recent passport photographs.
Letter of power of attorney from the Ministry of Justice (for proxies).
Bank details.
Survey plan of the property or farmland.
Photograph of the property or farmland.
Sworn affidavit from a court or the Ministry of Justice.
Two passport photographs and valid identification of a guarantor or surety.
The monitoring team added that the re-verification would be conducted in batches. Claimants are advised to visit the Ministry of Lands today, Friday, December 13, to confirm their assigned batch.
