Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have officially settled their divorce after a contentious eight-year legal battle.
According to the Daily Mail, the Hollywood stars signed the final divorce paperwork on Monday, December 30. However, a dispute over their jointly owned French chateau remains unresolved.
“Frankly, Angelina is exhausted,” said divorce lawyer James Simon. “More than eight years ago, she filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all the properties they shared with him, focusing instead on finding peace and healing for their family.”
Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, just two years after the couple married. They had been in a relationship for 10 years before tying the knot.
