Prominent activist Aisha Yesufu has called on men to ensure they conduct DNA tests on their children.
However, she advised against publicly sharing the results of these tests, unless they reveal that the man is not the biological father of the child.
Yesufu’s comments came after an X user faced criticism for disclosing that he had conducted a DNA test on his newborn, which yielded positive results.
On her X account, Yesufu wrote, “Every man, especially those with doubts, should get a DNA test done on their children.
Unless the result shows that the children are not yours, keep it to yourself!
“Nobody needs to know you did a DNA test!”
