The Adamawa State Executive Council has approved a budget proposal of N486.2 billion for the 2025 fiscal year.
James Iliya, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, announced the decision after an Executive Council meeting presided over by the Deputy Governor, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, on Wednesday in Yola.
Iliya also disclosed that the council approved a contract to procure a residential property for conversion into a High Court in Madagali Local Government Area. The project, valued at N186.2 million, has been awarded to Hassan and Hassan Consultant.
He stated that the procurement and conversion are expected to be completed within three months. The initiative aims to extend court services to all 21 local government areas of the state, bringing litigation services closer to the people.
