In its continuous and remarkable effort to empower the youth and promote education, the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has announced the launch of its 2025 Free WAEC Scholarship programme, set to benefit 200 students across Kwara State.

Building on the success of last year’s initiative, which supported 139 students from Offa, Oyun Local Government Area (LGA), and other parts of the state, the Foundation has expanded the program this year to include all public secondary schools in Offa, Oyun, and approved registration centers across Kwara State.

This expansion aims to ensure greater inclusivity and impact.

The selection process for this year’s beneficiaries officially commenced today at the Offa Grammar School library, with principals from all participating schools in attendance. Scholarship forms were distributed to the principals, ensuring a transparent and fair process.

The programme is strictly for students in public schools who meet the eligibility criteria, emphasizing the Foundation’s commitment to integrity and equal opportunity.

Seventeen public secondary schools in Offa are part of the initiative, including notable schools like Offa Grammar School, Ansar-Ud-Deen College, St. Clare’s Girls College, and Okin High School.

The principals lauded the Foundation and its founder, Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, for this impactful initiative, which they described as a significant step towards uplifting education and creating opportunities for young minds in the state.

This scholarship initiative reflects the MOK Foundation’s dedication to fostering a brighter future for Kwara’s youth, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder deserving students from achieving academic success.
