Wizkid’s latest album, Morayo, has shattered records on Spotify Nigeria, achieving the highest number of single-day streams for any album in the platform’s history.
The album amassed an impressive 12 million streams on Spotify Nigeria, doubling the previous record set by Asake’s Lungu Boy.
Globally, Morayo recorded 16.27 million streams on its first full day of release, marking the biggest debut for an African album on Spotify.
Additionally, Wizkid set a new record for the most single-day streams for a song on Spotify Nigeria with Kese (Dance), surpassing his own previous record held by Piece of My Heart.
