The incident was confirmed by Superintendent Ahmed Wakil, the Public Relations Officer of the Bauchi State Police Command, in a press statement released on Tuesday.

Wakil indicated that the crime took place on November 5, 2024, and was reported to the Ningi Divisional Police Headquarters. “The lifeless body of the two-year-old girl was found beside a mosque on Deneva Street, showing signs of assault,” he stated.
