President Bola Tinubu has submitted the nomination of Feyisinmi Ibiyemi as the Ondo Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) to the Senate for confirmation.
Additionally, he has forwarded the names of two nominees for Federal Commissioner positions: Tukur AbdulRazak (Northwest) and Professor Sunday Ajah (Southeast).
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, announced the nominations during Tuesday’s plenary session.
The request has been assigned to the Senate Committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for review, with instructions to provide their recommendations promptly.
