Ambassador Isyaka Shittu Dayo, the National President of the Offa Youth Forum (OYF), will be installed as the Otun Akinrogun of Yoruba Zazzau on November 17, 2024.
The grand installation ceremony will take place at the main auditorium of NIIT on Basawa Old Kano Road, Zaria.
The installation ceremony will be presided over by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Alhaji) Barrister Ishak Bello (LLM), the revered Oba of Yoruba Zazzau, while His Highness Alhaji Nuhu Ahmed Bamalli, CFR, LLD, will serve as the Royal Father of the day.
Ambassador Shittu’s recognition as Otun Akinrogun— a significant Yoruba chieftaincy title—highlights his contributions to the Yoruba community in Zazzau, his leadership in the Offa Youth Forum and worthy ambassador for youths.
It is worth noting that Ambassador Shittu was recently appointed Acting President of the Nigeria Chapter of the NGO Founders Global Network (NFGN), a position he assumed in September. The appointment, along with his new chieftaincy title, further underscores his dedication to youth empowerment and community development across Nigeria.
The event is expected to draw prominent dignitaries, traditional leaders, and members of the Yoruba and Zazzau communities, celebrating the ambassador’s contributions to national unity and development.
