The Offa Students Union National Headquarters (OSU NHQS), led by its esteemed President, Arc. Comr. Soliu Mubarak Olaiy has visited Lens Polytechnic for the swearing-in of the institution’s first 19-member executive committee.

 

The newly inaugurated executives include President Adebisi Abdul Mujeeb, Secretary Oyewole Jamiu, Vice President 1 Oluyemo Mutiullah, and Vice President 2 Ibrahim Bashirat.

 

Financial responsibilities will be overseen by Financial Secretary Omoteji Hajarat and Treasurer Abdullahi Abdulazeez, while the Public Relations team comprises Abdulganiu Ibrahim and Assistant PRO Usman Qoreebat. The Social Directors, Abdulrafiu Arafat and Arowolo Ridwan, will handle social engagements, and Welfare Officers Adeyemo Abdulazeez and Badmus Hussainat will oversee the well-being of the students.

 

General Secretary Oyewopo Abdulazeez, Auditor Ibrahim Abdullateef, Peace Maker Shittu Ibrahim, and cultural leaders Badmus Salahudeen (Baba Okin) and Hammed Kausarat (Iya Okin) round out the core leadership team.

 

The Protocol Officers, Habeed Muhammed and Olawale Muslimat, will ensure smooth operations during union events and activities.

 

The OSU NHQS delegation’s visit featured a courtesy meeting with the Dean of Student Affairs (DSA), Mrs. Mujidat Bameke Oladipo, who addressed the OSU Lens Polytechnic members and emphasized the importance of their roles as emerging leaders.

 

This was followed by a meeting with Mr. Hammed Sharafa Olalekan, Registrar of Lens Polytechnic, where the new executives and the OSU NHQS President underscored their commitment to strengthening relationships between the institution’s leadership and the student body.

 

The OSU NHQS expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Proprietor of Lens Polytechnic, the Dean of Student Affairs, the Registrar, and all staff members for their unwavering support and commitment to student development.

 

The visit reinstated the importance of collaboration, leadership, and unity within the student community.
