Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and Meta, has shared a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Priscilla Chan, by releasing a special cover of the rap classic “Get Low” in honor of their dating anniversary.
The couple, who have been together since 2003 and married since 2012, decided to make this year’s celebration extra special. Collaborating with renowned music artist T-Pain, whose real name is Faheem Rashad Najm, Zuckerberg recorded the track under the band name “Z-Pain.” The melodic homage holds nostalgic value, as the original song played when they first met at a college party.
In an Instagram post, the 40-year-old billionaire reminisced, “Get Low was playing when I first met Priscilla at a college party, so every year we listen to it on our dating anniversary. This year I worked with T-Pain on our own version of this lyrical masterpiece.” The new rendition is available on Spotify, and Zuckerberg signed off his post with a sweet note, “Love you P,” dedicated to his wife.
Accompanying the announcement were images of the lyrics, an album cover featuring Zuckerberg and T-Pain with acoustic guitars, and behind-the-scenes snapshots from the recording session.
Priscilla Chan’s joyful reaction was captured on Zuckerberg’s Instagram story, where she laughed and called the tribute “so romantic.”
