Dino Melaye
Former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye has ridiculed former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello following his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Bello faced charges in the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Wednesday regarding allegations of fraud committed during his time in office. He appeared in court wearing a white Babanriga, greeted by cheers of “Saaki” from a crowd of supporters and political aides.
The former governor had turned himself in to the anti-graft agency on Tuesday, accompanied by his successor, Usman Ododo, and his legal team.
In response to the events, Melaye took to X to post, “Ex-White Lion Docked!”
