In a significant step towards transforming education through technology, Jive Technologies has launched its operations in Kwara State with an impactful collaboration under the “JIVE Up Kwara Initiative: Connecting Technology, Enhancing Learning.”

 

The initiative, held on November 11, 2024, marked a pivotal celebration of World Science Day in partnership with the Special Adviser on Education in Kwara State, Dr. Adetola Ariyike Salau, and her STEM-focused project, STEAM Up Kwara.

 

The programme, designed to pilot STEM education and digital learning across 12 schools in the state, witnessed active participation from a broad spectrum of educational stakeholders.

 

Representing Jive Technologies were key personnel, including Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Michael Sobule, Head of Product Taiwo Oyeleke, and Senior Software Developer Joshua Damilare, who provided hands-on demonstrations and insights into the technology-driven solutions Jive Technologies offers.

 

Dr. Adetola Salau, Special Adviser on Education to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, lauded the initiative, emphasizing its potential to redefine learning experiences for students.

 

“By leveraging technology to enhance learning, we are creating future-ready youth equipped to thrive in an increasingly digital world,” Dr. Salau stated.

 

As part of the initiative, Jive Technologies announced a partnership with Kwara State’s education leadership to advance STEM education and skill development for Nigerian youth.

 

The collaboration aligns with Jive’s mission to harness technology for accessible, future-focused education.
